Off To See The Wizard

Off To See The Wizard
And since he is in North Austin and I am not, it will take most of the day. I'll be back tomorrow. Cross your fingers. I need something definitive from this wizard and not more tests, damned doctors and their tests. If you prick us, do we not bleed? Methinks they do forget!

Where are the beading challenge updates? Carol? Clara?? Hellooo! Is anyone out there???? Just a sentence will make me happy!

I'll be back tomorrow afternoon. Until then, remember these immortal words from (of all people) Napoleon Bonaparte: Imagination rules the world.

We've had a crazy week. Not much design time, alot of gears turning, but not much to show. I'm still in.

Happy Beading,
Clara

Carry a little notebook with you & jot down notes. I was kicking myself in the butt yesterday, because I did not have my notebook with me and I thought of something fabulous and now I cannot for the life of me remember what it was! Just keep the gears turning, and something good will happen!

I have been playing with different color patterns of a beaded dodecahedron from "The Art of Beaded Beads." I entered some in the Stitchery Show next weekend. I went looking for some pentagonal beads and found some mother of pearl that I am designing a surround for. I thought I would make another dodecahedron with them, but they are so pretty, I am thinking of designing a necklace, something new for me.

Okay. But,just to be clear, you won't be seeing a seed bead project from me. I have been using my camera phone alot to capture colors and textures. Caught some cool crystal formations on our windshield a couple of weeks ago. It would look great in delicas and 2-3mm Swarovski bicones.

I can't wait to see you and the dodecahedron beads this weekend. Keep beading away on stuff just for you. I'll bring my (MY) necklace if I decide there will be room!
hugs!

Clara, Clara, Clara ~
As much as I would love to draw you to the seed bead side, I have to admit I've given up. Besides, the challenge didn't say it had to be made with any definite type of beads, it just has to be something for you! And crystal formations from crystals? Ah, a perfect world!
hugs!
