Changes

Most folks out there decide to make their New Year's Resolutions on New Year's Eve. I've been very busy for the past week making mine. What I can tell you right now is that there will be HUGE lifestyle changes. I'm not quite sure I'm ready for all of this, but that ball has already started rolling downhill, picking up momentum as it goes. On the other hand, none of changes are being made blindly. I've been researching, gathering information and learning every day. Basically, I've tried to make some informed decisions. There is also a lot of just waiting involved, kind of like sitting on a egg.

When this egg has hatched, you'll be the first to know!

You tease you! :) I hope the changes are good ones and that they bring with them what you want/need them to.

CD, I will say that they are needed and they will be good in the long run. I may just have to build up some stamina! ;->

O Man! What the heck are you up to!!

Merry Christmas

uhhh, the chickens ARE metaphoric, aren't they?!?

I guess chickens are metamorphic. I never thought about that. But the big changes deal with my personal metamorphosis. Patience, grasshopper! And Happy Holidays to you & yours!!

I'm with you honey, I've spent this past year in mourning and now it's time to move on. I never thought death would affect me this way. I was always the strong one.

Change isn't always easy, but the little chicks will guide you, and honey, you have plenty of them...

Keep smiling Mother Hen...

Juls, I cannot tell you how it touches me to know that you are also a person who does not "just get over" things. I am so tired of hearing how I should just move on. Mourning takes time. It takes different amounts of time for different people. I'm like you -- I never realized how strongly it would affect me & how hard it would be just to get out of bed some mornings. There was a reason that Victorians considered a year to be an appropriate mourning period. Thank you for that very important sentence.

Turn and face the strain.

It's time. ♥

What a great way to put it -- hatching eggs! Last year I wrote an entire blog about my plans for this year, thinking if I wrote them down publicly, I'd stick to them. It's been interesting to see how it's all worked out.

Lori, did making your plans public help you stick to them? I'd be interested in finding out.

Gaye, you need a Google account so you don't keep coming up as ANONYMOUS! Get on that, girlfriend! I know it's a priority, right?? LOL!
